Adnan Hyder

The GWSPH team led by Professor Adnan Hyder has worked to understand the epidemiology and determinants of childhood injury, disability and trauma for 20 years. Their work has uncovered the huge burden of disability in low and middle income countries, the impact on care givers of disabled children, and new ways of measuring disability and participation. This project is a natural advancement of their work and collaborations in Africa.
